Is hosting the 1st Woodchopping carnival of the season in Tasmania 

Events include

Handicap Woodchopping in several dimensions 250mm 300mm standing 275mm 300mm Underhand. 

Handicap Crosscut Sawing 

Championship Hot Saw Chainsaws 250cc & over (loud and fast, motorbike engines converted to racing chainsaws) just like Stihl Timbersports

& The 325mm Tasmanian Standing Block Championship

Masterclasses will be held throughout the day, giving you the chance to learn from the experts.

A reusable $5 tasting glass will be available to purchase on-site. Use it throughout the event and take it home as a keepsake of a memorable day.

Bring a picnic rug or chair, find a sunny spot, and settle in for a great day out.

Presented by Tamar Valley Wine and supported by West Tamar Council and Visit Northern Tasmania.

Celebrating 100 years of Caterpillar machines with a family friendly event showcasing the Beckett earthmoving and truck collection, alongside the greatest ever gathering of Tasmanian Caterpillar earthmovers in one place, representing earthmoving, mining, underground, forestry and Antarctic exploration.

 The Exeter Family Fun Fair & Fireworks was back and BIGGER than ever in 2025!

The crew provided two days of non-stop fun, laughter, and excitement on:

The Exeter Show Society held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, 23rd September at 7pm.  

The same dedicated Group of volunteers agreed to keep committing their time and ever outstanding efforts for another year. We thank them greatly for what they do for our Exeter Show Society, and our community.

PAST EVENT - Thank you to everyone who competed, attended and made the day possible!

Competitors from all over the Country will come together at the Exeter Showgrounds to compete for gold, silver & bronze medals. Bring a chair, come along and sit back to enjoy the entertainment Friday 11th & Saturday 12th October, 2024 from 10.00am!! 

Food and refreshments will be available, including the Exeter Show Society BBQ. You can also try out your luck with raffles on the day. There'll be events every 15 minutes til 3pm!

All welcome, please come along and show your support. Free entry for spectators.
